OUR PASTOR
The Reverend Stephen M. Austin (Steve) has been with us at Doby's Bridge PC since October 2017. He grew up in Charlotte, NC at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
He earned his B.S. in Communication Arts at Appalachian State University and his Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.
His first call was as Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at FPC in Raleigh, NC. There he became married and moved to a solo pastor position with United Presbyterian Church in Lenoir, NC. and served for 22+ years before joining us in Fort Mill.
He enjoys photography, hiking, water skiing (liquid or solid), woodworking and is active as a trained Climbing Instructor and Merit Badge counselor with the BSA. But he is most content spending time with his God in the great cathedral of nature.

A Word From Our Congregation...
Doby’s Bridge Presbyterian Church is a Spirit-filled congregation of believers committed to serving our Lord Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to glorify God through our worship, Biblical learning, service, and fellowship. Our teaching and preaching is Biblically-based and relevant to today’s issues and concerns. We are a congregation that is sustained by prayer. The prayers of the faith community connect us to the power, presence, and healing of Jesus. Worship at Doby’s Bridge Presbyterian Church is uplifting with an emphasis on the good news of Jesus Christ.
Children are welcome participants in our congregation. A nursery is available, and children ages two through second grade enjoy Children’s Church during the worship hour. Our congregation is an inviting community of believers. We welcome visitors to worship, Christian education classes, and all other activities.
